Labour defector Julie MacDougall slated the impact of Nigel Farage’s dream in a bid to play up her pro-European credentials, The Courier can reveal.

A senior Fife Reform election candidate said that Brexit left the NHS “on its knees” and warned key promises had not been delivered, The Courier can reveal.

Julie MacDougall, standing for Brexit campaign architect Nigel Farage’s party in Kirkcaldy next week, claimed the country’s exit from the EU had left Britain in a “state of disarray”.

Her anti-Brexit tirade came four years ago in an official application for an endorsement from the Labour Movement for Europe group, which have now obtained in full.
